Cumberland Franklin Joint Municipal Authority (CFJMA) was formed in 1972 and provides sewer service in the Borough of Orrstown and Southampton Township in Franklin County, Southampton Township, and Shippensburg Township in Cumberland County.

CFJMA has approximately 3,000 service connections, 80 miles of pipeline, and 11 pumping stations.

CFJMA is dedicated to providing its customers with safe, dependable sewage teatment at a reasonable cost.

CFJMA is currently constructing sewer lines to facilitate sewer service to the designated areas
of Letterkenny Township and a small portion of Southampton Franklin along Orrstown Road.  Those areas include; Pleasant Hall and Upper Strasburg.  These are known as the “Letterkenny Sewer District” and have the following tapping fees:

Pre-existing structures included in the original construction blueprints
Tapping fee - $1,800.00 per EDU
Single Domestic - $2,000.00

New construction or structures outside the approved plan area
Tapping fee - $3,300.00 per EDU
Single Domestic - $3,500.00
